I don't even really consider my favorite characters 'underaged' since they're almost all voiced by adults. For example, I like Alphonse from FMA, but he's voiced by a younger boy so I see him as a young boy. And Dib may be like, 10 in the cartoon, but he's voiced by an adult, so I see him as being older than he really is. Wow, rambling

Who says that? I ran into one person that said something like that, but it didn't bother here as much as people posting adult images of under agers on dA. Other then that ,which i have no problem with, i haven't seen anything about the subject.

It kinda stemmed from a Deviantsnark post someone made about me where they said my fanart looked borderline pedophilic because I happen to like 'underage' cartoon characters (which isn't hard for me to accomplish since I'm 24 ) I thought it was funny, since they were freaking out over cartoon fanart, so I joked about it in my DA journal and it brought others out of the woodwork that argued with me that, no matter if it's a cartoon or not, it is still considered kiddy porn. (*headdesks idly here*)

I took down most of my gallery after that. And I never heard anything from the mods in reguards to the mass reporting that the snark post spawned So, I decided to be a smartass

I wouldn't have taken anything down. I'm combative so i would've just posted more. As long as it's within the rules (no all out sex, etc) then they can't touch you, anyway.

*chuckles* Eh, oh well. It didn't bother me too much since I still have other places to put my work and some of it was REALLY old so I wanted to do some cleaning. What made me upset the most was being accused unquestionably as a pedophile just because of fictional characters.

(It pissed me off a LOT because I would NEVER hurt a child. In fact, I'm studying Early Childhood Education because I like working with kids
